A corporate outfit post...

I've twice blogged about my favourite items to have in a corporate wardrobe (here and here) but I've just realised that I've never actually posted an actual outfit that I myself wear to the office.  This photo was taken right after holidays and lets just say that I found it difficult to zip the skirt up (*blush*).

When I make a bit of effort for work, I tend to find that I feel a lot better and more productive during the day.

  5. I love, love, love your shoes! So pretty!

I think it's a very feminine, yet suitable outfit for work. I was just looking at some old photos of myself in my last corporate job before I started studying again. I was all crisp shirts and blazers, pearl earrings and not a hair out of place. Not much like the casual way I dress now. My fellow students wouldn't have recognized me!

  6. Good outfit - it's a hard balance I find to look smart but not boring. I do turn up to meetings sometimes and DESPAIR at what some women wear. Makes me want to take them outside and show them a copy of Vogue or something! But this outfit is lovely. Lou x

  8. Your necklace draws the eye away from your face (problem 1) and right to the visible outline of your bra (problem 2). Not a good look at all. :-(
