Despite the 70% off, can any of us really afford to pay AUD5,000 for a cotton sequined top?  I think not.

What's fashion week without obsession about what these two of-the-moment houses are showing?

Balmain is still leather, still minis, still sequins, still sexy. And I want those boots.

Balenciaga was unusual as usual... futuristic, sickeningly thin models (for the attention and publicity no doubt) and lots of pastels.  A step away from the wool and fur of the other shows.

Considering she made a rare runway appearance at the show, it's not really rocket science that she's used for the campaign.

Guess we'll all still be wearing leggings in 2010.. as well as military.  Which I love, mind you.
