Tiffany & Co - For Someone Extraordinary

I was flipping through some new magazines last night (as you do when you're procrastinating your studies) and I came across some images from the Tiffany & Co holiday campaign for 2010, titled For Someone Extraordinary.

There's no denying that the jewellery is overpriced and you're just paying for the blue box (or so my husband has done a good job convincing me), but the amazing images never cease to incite seething envy of idyllic holiday seasons and gift giving in me.  There's just something about that little blue box...  My family adheres to gift giving as we all love giving and receiving gifts and excitedly sit beside the tree and share the love.  Another Serbian tradition, due to the connotation of births and new beginnings with Christmas is to buy and wear a new outfit on Christmas day.

This coming Christmas (celebrated on 7 January - Wikipedia link if you want to know why) I'm spending the morning in Melbourne and flying home to Brisbane in the afternoon in time for dinner.. and then an extended and much needed stay... Can't wait.

  3. I hate to say it, but when I studied in Australia for a semester, I looked at the Tiffany's website and its waaaay more expensive for you guys than in the US. It's still really expensive here, but I was looking at the basic, tiny, silver necklace charms in Australia and they seemed to have jacked up the price outside of the US.

Also, I can't remember which celebrity it was, but there was someone in a magazine who had a Tiffany box cake. It was turquoise fondant with a white bow around it, and it was beautiful! Yum.

  5. I received a ring from Tiffany from my cousin for my 13th birthday but that's the only tiffany item I have ever owned (I've since lost it!).

These days (at 27) it doesn't appeal to me generally. I do like the holiday photos though...

  8. About 10 days ago my husband received two Tiffany.com links from me: One yellow diamond ring in case he decided to be generous and spend 10k+ or more affordable silver cocktail ring that retails for about US$800. He thinks i'm funny :-D I thought he better be prepared in case we win lottery :)

This design is incredible! You definitely know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to
start my own blog (well, almost...HaHa!) Fantastic job.
I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that,
how you presented it. Too cool!
