Valentino Retrospective - Brisbane

On my most recent trip to Brisbane I was very, very fortunate to get a couple of hours to visit the Valentino exhibit at GOMA.  I am so so proud of my home town for the major coup away from Sydney and Melbourne, both cities who claim to be the fashion capitals of Australia.

I would have liked a little more time at the exhibit perhaps, but the time I did have I thoroughly enjoyed.  Chances are I will never again be this close to haute couture.  Valentino was always my mum's favourite and quickly became mine and this exhibit featured some of his most memorable and iconic items.

Unfortunately they had run out books (I always buy way too many books at museum gift shops), but I did manage to sneak in some iPhone photos to share with you all.  Exhibit runs until 14 November.

the water looks so dirty after 3 weeks of non stop rain!

My absolutely favourite dress.

the beading and the workmanship is exquisite.

I saw the Valentino exhibition when I was in Paris, it was so so amazing. You're lucky to have got photos, I had a security man chase me from his post to come tell me off! x

Hello just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the
images aren't loading correctly. I'm not sure why but I think its a linking issue.
I've tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same results.

With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation?
My blog has a lot of unique content I've either authored myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement. Do you know any solutions to help stop content from being stolen? I'd truly appreciate it.

Hi there this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG
editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
