Auckland - New Zealand

As I've previously mentioned, last week I went to Auckland for some volunteer working that I am doing.  I've spent a lot of spare time (and time that isn't so spare) on various projects and something like this makes it all so worthwhile.

I had zero expectations but the city and the people I came across were so lovely, as was the weather.  Other than a bunch of documents, I took one spare dress and some underwear and toiletries with me!  A really, really fuss free few days.  I feel very blessed to have had the experience.

Here's a few photos, we only had a few spare hours which we used to go on a quick drive and a trip to Auckland museum which had some lovely art and artifacts, like the beautiful Tiki's that I've posted at the end.

  2. Ah...the city of sails! I lived there for 6 months ages ago, and I loved everything about it. Seeing these pictures certainly brings back some fond memories.

  3. Beautiful pictures! But what are all the people trying to spell with their figures in that one photo?
